People ultimately only are buying back their leisure time.
In this case, leisure can simply be defined as anything they choose to do.
While it’s true, the beginning of any sales situation starts with a problem - the ultimate motivation behind all decisions comes back to leisure.
People buy solutions to their pain points or needs.
However, ultimately they do this because there is a pain that must be addressed so they can spend less time dealing with the pain and more time on things they choose to do.
For instance, if you had a leaky roof, you’d need that fixed. Water in the house is no good. But while it’s leaking you’re spending time dealing with it and not watching golf. And you just wanna watch golf.
People actually aren’t seeking the results faster for the sake of the results. It’s rather that they’d deploy more time to doing things they want to do.
