There’s generally two types of leaders out there.
One will quickly make decisions, go all in with them early, and put a lot of things into the market. Most of which will feel incomplete or inaccurate solutions.
The other will cut three times, measure some more, think about every angle of the issue and bring a perfect solution to the market - but very (very) slowly.
Both are wrong… yet both are right. It just depends on the circumstance.
Average leaders are able to produce either speed or accuracy, but are unwilling or unable to see the value in the other.
The best leaders and business developers can understand the difference in circumstance and deliver accordingly.
Average leaders develop teams that reflect their viewpoint on speed vs. accurracy.
The best leaders develop teams that can determine when one or the other might be critical for the success of the mission.
Average leaders will die on a hill thinking one is more important than the other.
The best leaders will die on a hill trying to make sure everyone knows that both can be important.
