If you read this newsletter, you know I’m all about action orientation. In the lore of Amazon:
Speed matters in business. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not need extensive study. We value calculated risk taking.
In this statement, there’s a couple key things to consider:
Take action - speed matters.
Reverse or correct action if you find yourself wrong
In other words - spend more time evaluating your decision and less time paralyzed by it.
I Practice What I Preach
In the bias for action on this very newsletter, I signed up with a service I thought would be great for our needs. Turns out, it wasn’t.
I’m greatful I leapt first, and evaluated later. In the last month I’ve developed more of a cadence for writing - something I’ve long meant to do. I’ve also been able to think through many topics to share and keep expanding my personal mind.
Had I paused at every turn… buying a domain, finding a hosting service, designing a logo, etc. I would still be thinking about doing this, not doing it.
Expanding The Team
So here we are, on a new host, which will handle our needs better. Specifically the ability for me to add additional authors on this newsletter.
Since launching this, it’s attracted some of the best minds I know who’ve asked to write alongside me. Since this is here to help fitness studio owners (any small business owner really) learn how to focus on becoming better business leaders - I thought the more thought, the better!
